  1. WHAT DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES?

Cookies are short pieces of information that our Website saves on your computer’s hard drive or on your mobile device in the form of text files, thanks to which we are able to calculate how successful this Website is. We also use other technologies of this type, i.e. saving and reading information from localStorage, i.e. a data warehouse. We recognize you to find out what information you need and what you are looking for on our Website. We want to know which categories you visit more often than others, so that we can make our Website more interesting and better in reception. It is you who gives us the knowledge about the direction in which we should develop, what are your requirements, what is missing, and what you think it should be on the Website. In addition, cookies and information from localStorage are used by our Website to maintain the user’s session and settings (after logging in), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter the login and password on each subpage of the Website, as well as to create statistics, research and analyzes that help understand how users use websites, which allows improving their structure and content. As a result of access to data contained in cookies and through the localStorage technology, during your visit to the Website, we obtain data categories indicated in point II of the Privacy Policy.

Cookies and information saved in localStorage do not in any way destroy or damage the system on your device and files stored on it, nor do they intentionally adversely affect its performance or functionality. Identification takes place impersonally, anonymously and these are only data concerning the method and form of using the Website.

Due to the storage period, the Website uses two basic types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on your end device until you log out, leave the website or turn off the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored on your end device for the time specified in the cookie file parameters or until you delete them.

Due to the function, we use the following types of cookies on the Website:

– Necessary cookies, enabling the use of services available on the Website, e.g. authentication cookies used for services that require authentication on the Website;

– cookies used to ensure security, e.g. used to detect fraud in the field of authentication on the Websites;

– performance cookies, enabling the collection of information on the use of the websites of the Services;

– functional cookies, allowing you to remember the settings selected by you and personalize the interface, e.g. in terms of the language or region you come from, font size, website appearance, etc.;

– advertising cookies, enabling the delivery of advertising content more tailored to your interests.

The data we obtain using cookies and localStorage technology, mobile device identifiers (IDs) – as a rule – do not allow your identification. In some cases, however, especially when you are a registered user, it is possible to link specific information resulting from cookies, localStorage technology, and mobile device identifiers (IDs) with you.

The localStorage technology allows you to store information similar to cookies in your browser, in particular in environments where the cookie technology does not work properly or cannot work. Items saved using localStorage – unlike cookies – have no time limit, i.e. they function until they are deleted at the user’s request.

Accepting cookies and localStorage technology is not obligatory to use the Website. However, we would like to point out that the lack of acceptance of certain cookies will prevent the proper functioning of the Website to the full extent.

We will use the collected data to profile and personalize content, advertisements and other services that are visible on our Website and on the Internet.

You can also specify the possibility of storing or accessing cookies and information stored in the localStorage technology at any time using the settings of the software installed on your device.

In order for us to be able to permanently remember your decision regarding the lack of consent to the use of cookies and local storage for the purposes described above, we are forced to save a cookie on your device that stores this information. If your device settings do not allow it, it will be natural to ask for your consent each time.

In order not to receive cookies, use the option of the web browser used to connect to the Websites and select the option of automatic rejection. These settings usually also allow you to manage cookies.

Below are links to exemplary, official websites of manufacturers of the most commonly used web browsers, which contain information about the steps needed to change the settings of a given browser in the above-described scope:

In order not to allow the operation of the localStorage technology, it is necessary to disable the cooperation of the browser with this technology, which is usually done in the same way as when resigning from receiving cookies.
